City of Muskego Police & Fire Commission Meeting
October 9, 2008
The quarterly meeting of the Muskego Police & Fire Commission was held on Thursday,
October 9, 2008 in the conference room of the City of Muskego Police Department.
Commissioner Gleason call the meeting to order at 7:00PM and Commissioner Treba led
the commission in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Roll Call was taken with Commissioners Gleason, Treba, Kuwitzky, and Mooney
present. Commissioner Sindic was excused.
Statement of Public Notice was given to the press and posted on Thursday, October 2,
2008. Commissioner Kuwitzky made a motion to approve the agenda items and
Commissioner Mooney seconded. Motion carried unanimously.
Commissioner Treba made a motion to accept the minutes of the July 17, 2008 meeting.
Commissioner Kuwitzky seconded and motion carried unanimously.
REPORT FROM THE POLICE DEPARTMENT:
Officer Mahaffy finished recruit school and is doing his field training and doing
very well.
Officer Sheridan has completed his probationary period and also doing very well.
Lt. Kaebisch sustained an injury to his knee earlier this week while at In-Service.
Officer Jones is on light duty as he had the metal plates and screws removed from
his ankle.
Officer Heusdens is on family leave due to having a child.

The next meeting will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2009.
Commissioner Mooney made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Commissioner Kuwitzky
seconded, and motion carried unanimously. The meeting was adjourned at 7:29PM.
