City of Muskego Police & Fire Commission
February 8, 2007
The meeting of the Muskego Police & Fire Commission was held on Thursday,
February 8, 2007 in the conference room of the City of Muskego Police Department.
Commissioner Lehman called the meeting to order at 7:00PM.
Pledge of Allegiance
Roll call was taken with Commissioners Lehman, Sindic, Treba, and Gleason present.
Statement of Public Notice was posted on Wednesday, February 1, 2007.
Commissioner Gleason made a motion to accept the minutes of the November 15th,
December 1st, and December 14th, 2006 meetings. Commissioner Treba seconded and
motion carried unanimously.
REPORT FROM THE POLICE DEPARTMENT:
• Officer Melissa Werner resigned as of January 11, 2007.
• With the retirement of Chief Johnson and the resignation of Officer Werner the
Department is short two officers.
• A salary survey is being done of approximately thirteen departments that
includes the positions of Sergeant up to the position of Chief of Police in order
for the City to decide on the open position of Captain. Need the City’s approval
before the Department can promote someone to that position.

NEW BUSINESS:
• Commissioners asked about the eligibility list and the topic will be placed on the
next agenda for discussion.
COMMUNICATIONS AND OTHER MATTERS AS AUTHORIZED BY LAW:
• Nothing
The date of the next meeting is to be held before the regularly scheduled meeting of
April 19, 2007 to discuss the eligibility list.
Commissioner Sindic moved for the meeting to be adjourned. Commissioner Treba
seconded, motion carried unanimously. The meeting was adjourned at 7:20PM.
