CITY OF MUSKEGO POLICE & FIRE COMMISSION MEETING
Thursday, October 28, 2004
The regular meeting of the Police & Fire Commission of the City of Muskego was held on
Thursday, October 28,2004 in the conference room of the City of Muskego Police Department.
President Kuwitzky called the meeting to order at 7:30PM.
Pledge of Allegiance
Roll call was conducted and present were Commissioners Michael Kuwitzky, Robert Rammer,
Blenda Treba, Lewis Lehman, and Terry Sindic.
The Statement of Public Notice was posted at City Hall and the Police Department on October
25,2004 and given to the press on October 22,2004. Commissioner Rammer made a motion to
approve the agenda items with Commissioner Lehman seconding. Motion carried unanimously.
Commissioner Rammer made a motion to approve the minutes of the July 15,2004 meeting.
Commissioner Sindic seconded and motion carried unanimously.
REPORT FROM THE POLICE DEPARTMENT:
1. Lt. Steven Kukowski asked to be reassigned and was assigned to the Swing Shift.
2. Officer Robert Tromp resigned for a job in the private sector.
3. Officer Adam Elsen will be leaving by the end of the year and moving to Michigan to
be closer to family.
4. Officer Gary Mrotek resigned his Community Resource Officer position and was
assigned to Patrol Officer on the 2nd shift. There will be a posting soon for the open
CRO position.
5. Officer Chad Dombach has been assigned to the position of Detective.
6. The City has approved a new position for Patrol Officer in the 2005 Budget.
OLD BUSINESS:
Nothing
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Status of the hiring process and the establishment of an eligibility list was discussed.
The Commission decided on interviewing the top twenty-one candidates and the oral
interviews will be held on December 4th at the Police Department.
2. The possible disciplinary hearing has been cancelled and the Officer is accepting the
discipline.

Nothing
The next meeting of the Muskego Police & Fire Commission will be held on Thursday, January
20,2005 at 7:30PM.
Commissioner Lehman moved the meeting be adjourned. Commissioner Sindic seconded and
motion carried unanimously. The meeting was adjourned at 8:25PM.
