CITY OF MUSKEGO POLICE & FIRE COMMISSION MEETING Thursday, April 15, 2004 The regular meeting of the Police & Fire Commission of the City of Muskego was held on Thursday, April 15, 2004 in the conference room of the City of Muskego Police Department. President Kuwitzky called the meeting to order at 7:30PM. Pledge Allegiance Roll call was conducted and present were Commissioners Michael Kuwitzky, Blenda Treba, Robert Rammer, Lewis Lehman, and Terry Sindic. The Statement of Public Notice was given to the press and posted on Monday, April 12, 2004. Commissioner Rammer made a motion to approve the agenda items with Commissioner Sindic seconding. Motion carried unanimously. Commissioner Rammer made a motion to approve the minutes from the January 15, 2004 meeting. Commissioner Lehman seconded and motion carried unanimously. REPORT FROM THE POLICE DEPARTMENT: 1. The final touches are being made to the Web page and it will be installed shortly. A press release will be done to inform the public of the new web site. 2. Chief distributed a letter of discipline and asked ifthere were any questions. 3. Chief Johnson explained the purpose behind the 15t Police Employees Family Open House. Our first open house will be on May 25th with pizza and then focusing on traffic stops. A day at the range is being planned for the fall, which will include demonstrations, hands-on, and a family barbecue. 4. The revised Customer Survey was distributed and Chief Johnson explained the purpose of this form. Approximately 50 surveys are sent out every month and the replies are used to better the service provided by the Department. 5. The software that will be purchased this year is on hold at this time as the company that the City is dealing with is still in the process of testing the program. 6. Waukesha County Sheriff is cutting over in May to the new consolidated dispatch center. OLD BUSINESS: Nothing NEW BUSINESS: Nothing . . . Commissioner Lehman moved the meeting be adjourned. Commissioner Sindic seconded and motion carried unanimously. The meeting was adjourned at 7:47PM.
