CITY OF MUSKEGO POLICE & FIRE COMMISSION MEETING
Thursday, April 17, 2003
The regular meeting of the Police & Fire Commission of the City of Muskego was held on
Thursday, April 17, 2003 in the conference room of the City of Muskego Police
Department. President Kuwitzky called the meeting to order at 7:30PM.
Pledge of Allegiance
Roll call was conducted and present were Commissioners Michael Kuwitzky, Blenda
Treba, Lewis Lehman, Robert Rammer, and Terry Sindic.
The public notice was given to the press and posted at City Hall and the Police Department
on Monday, April 14, 2003. Commissioner Rammer made a motion to approve the agenda
items with Commissioner Lehman seconding. Motion carried unanimously.
Commissioner Rammer made a motion to approve the minutes from the January 16, 2003
meeting. Commissioner Treba seconded. Motion carried unanimously.

REPORT FROM THE POLICE DEPARTMENT:
1. Officers Johannik and Ondricka have finished their Field Training and are doing
well on their own.
2. Chief Johnson explained the Pay for Performance Program and how it has been
progressmg.
3. Those officers who were promoted this year are all doing fine in their new
positions.
4. The 2003 marked squad cars have a new graphic design and are black and white in
color.
5. The 4th Citizens Academy is in progress and they have a few weeks to go before
graduation.
6. Chief Johnson explained that there would be problems with the 2004 Budget due to
the State budget and cuts expected.
7. Due to numerous ongoing problems in the Cornell Circle the Department will be
working on the area as a special enforcement initiative.

The next meeting will be held on Thursday, July 17,2003 at 7:30PM.
Commissioner Sindic moved the meeting be adjourned. Commissioner Rammer seconded
and motion carried unanimously. The meeting was adjourned at 7:50PM.
