pfcm20021017r CITY OF MUSKEGO POLICE & FIRE COMMISSIONMEETING Thursday, October 17,2002 The regular meeting of the Police & Fire Commission of the City of Muskego was held on Thursday, October 17, 2002 in the conference room of the City of Muskego Police Department. President Kuwitzky called the meeting to order at 7:32PM. Pledge of Allegiance Roll call was conducted and present were Commissioners Michael Kuwitzky, Blenda Treba, Robert Rammer, and Terry Sindic. Absent was Commissioner Lehman. It was noted the public notice was given to the press and posted at City Hall and the Police Department on Monday, October 14, 2002. Commissioner Sindic made a motion to approve the agenda items with Commissioner Rammer seconding. Motion carried unanimously. Commissioner Rammer made a motion to approve the minutes from the August 1, 2002 meeting. Commissioner Treba seconded. Motion carried unanimously. r- REPORT FROM THE POLICE DEPARTMENT: 1. Officer Gary Leon is the new Police School Liaison Officer and reports to Bay Lane Middle School where he is doing a very good job. 2. Officer Steven Johannik is in field training at the present time and reported to be doing well. 3. Jason Ondricka will graduate from the Wisconsin Police Corps on November 8, 2002. 4. The Department is holding the third session of the Police Academy and has been receiving many positive comments. 5. The 2003 Budget is moving along without any problems. 6. The status of consolidated dispatch was discussed. 7. Chief advised that he would have upcoming promotions made before the January 2003 meeting for approval of the Commission.
