The regular meeting of the Police & Fire Commission of the City of Muskego was held on
Thursday, August I, 2002 in the conference room of the City of Muskego Police
Department. President Kuwitzky called the meeting to order at 7:31PM.
Pledge of Allegiance
Roll call was conducted and present were Commissioners Michael Kuwitzky, Blenda
Treba, Robert Rammer, Lewis Lehman, and Terry Sindic.
It was noted the public notice was given to the press and posted at City Hall and the Police
Department on Thursday, July 251h
Commissioner Rammer made a motion to approve the agenda items with Commissioner
Sindic seconding. Motion carried unanimously.
Commissioner Treba made a motion to approve the minutes from the April 41h and July
13'h meetings. Commissioner Sindic seconded. Motion carried unanimously.

REPORT FROM THE POLICE DEPARTMENT.
Lt. Paul Geiszler filled in for Chief Johnson, who was unable to attend.
Officer Gary Mrotek was chosen for the newly created position of Community
Resource Officer and is exoected to start SeDtember I"
Two officers applied for the position of Police School Liaison Officer. There will
be an oral interview when a date is set.
Jason Ondricka is doing very well at the Wisconsin Police Corps.
Discussion of the recent eligibility list and Lt. Geiszler explained about the
background investigations.
Consolidated dispatch was discussed.

NEW BUSINESS:
1. Election of Officers - Commissioner Rammer nominated Michael Kuwitzky as
President. Commissioner Lehman seconded and motion carried unanimously.
Commissioner Sindic nominated Robert Rammer for Vice-President/Secretary and
Commissioner Lehman seconded. Motion carried unanimously.

Commissioner Treba moved the meeting be adjourned until October 17,2002 at 7:30PM.
Commissioner Lehman seconded and motion carried unanimously. The meeting was
adjourned at 8:23PM.
