The regular meeting of the Police & Fire Commission of the City of Muskego was held
on Thursday, January 17,2002 in the conference room of the City of Muskego Police
Department. President Kuwitzky called the meeting to order at 7:32PM.
Pledge Allegiance
Roll call was conducted and present were Commissioners Michael Kuwitzky, Lewis
Lehman, Terry Sindic and Robert Rammer. Commissioner Blenda Treba was excused.
It was noted the public notice was given to the press and posted at City Hall and the
Police Department on Tuesday, January 15,2002.
Commissioner Lewis Lehman made a motion to accept the October 18,2001 minutes and
Commissioner Terry Sindic seconded. Motion carried unanimously.
REPORT FROM THE POLICE DEPARTMENT,
Chief Johnson reported on the following items:
1 Peter Lynkiewicz graduated from the 1'' Wisconsin Corps class in November of
2001 and is presently doing field training.

Women's Center of Waukesha. With another occurrence in the county they fear
that this is the start of a growing trend.

1 Issuance of Credentials - Commissioner Kuwitzky asked that the commissioners
be given some kind of credential showing that they are commissioners.
Commissioner Lehman made a motion to issue commission credentials and

seconded. Motion canied unanimously. Chief Johnson will check into this with
the high school to see if they can create an ID card.
2. New Meeting Dates - Chief Johnson requested the meetings be changed from the
3rd Thursday of the month due to a scheduling problem with another meeting.
The meeting will now be held on the 4'h Tuesday of the month.
