A special meeting of the Muskego Police & Fire Commission was held on Saturday, January 4, 2014 in
the conference room of the City of Muskego Police Department. Commissioner Kuwitzky called the
meeting to order at 7:28AM.
Pledge of Allegiance
Roll call was taken with Commissioners Kuwitzky, Treba, Gleason, Whittow, and Mooney present.
Statement of Public Notice was given to the press and posted on Monday, December 30, 2013.
Commissioner Mooney made a motion to approve the agenda items and Commissioner Whittow
seconded. Motion carried unanimously.
NOTICE OF CLOSED SESSION
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Police & Fire Commission of the City of Muskego will convene upon
passage of the proper motion into closed session pursuant to State Statutes, Section 19.85 (1) ( c):
Considering employment, promotion, compensation, or performance evaluation data of any public
employee over which the governing body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility for the specific
purpose of considering employment, promotion, compensation, or performance evaluation data, more
specifically for the purpose of interviewing candidates for the position of police officer.
Commission Mooney made a motion to go into closed session. Commissioner Whittow seconded and
motion carried unanimously. The commission moved into closed session at 7:50AM.
A motion was made to move back into open session by Commissioner Mooney and seconded by
Commissioner Whittow. Motion carried unanimously and the commission moved into open session at
2:35PM. The commission signed the roster of the candidates who will continue in the hiring process.
Commissioner Treba made a motion to adjourn and Commissioner Gleason seconded. Motion carried
unanimously and the meeting was adjourned at 2:39PM.
