pfcm20010719CITY OF MUSKEGO POLICE & FIRE COMMISSION MEETING July 19,2001 The regular meeting of the Police & Fire Commission of the City of Muskego was held on Thursday, July 19,2001 in the Conference Room of the City of Muskego Police Department. President Kuwitzky called the meeting to order at 7:30PM. Present were Commissioners Bob Rammer, Lewis Lehman, and Blenda Treba. Commissioner Terry Sindic was excused. It was noted the public notice was given to the press and posted at City Hall and the Police Department on Monday, July 16,2001 Commissioner Lehman made a motion to accept the agenda items and Commissioner Treba seconded. Motion camed unanimously. Commissioner Rammer made a motion to approve the April 26,2001 minutes. Commissioner Lehman seconded, motion camed unanimously. REPORT FROM THE POLICE DEPARTMENT. Chief Johnson reported on the following items: 1, The range shoot house will be started shortly. 2. Peter Lynkiewicz has finished week 6 out of 24 weeks of training at the State 3. Kelly Peterson has been hired as a clerk to replace Lynkiewicz. She started 4. Jasson Ziminski and James Rozeski are finished with their field training and 5. The Muskego Police Association is still in negotiations with the City for the 6. Work is beginning on the 2002 Budget. The Department is requesting a new Patrol Academy. June 11,2001 are on their own and doing well. 2000 contract. position, which would be a Community Resource Officer. OLD BUSINESS: Nothing to report. NEW BUSINESS: Chief Johnson asked for the approval of a promotion of David Constantineau to Sergeant. Commissioner Rammer made a motion to accept the promotion, Commissioner Lehman seconded.
