The regular meeting of the Police & Fire Commission of the City of Muskego was held on
Thursday. January 20Ih, 2000 in the Conference Room of the City of Muskego Police
Department. The meeting was called to order at 7:30PM by President Michael Kuwitzky.
Present were Commissioners Kuwitzky, Richard Petfalski, and Robert Rammer,
It was noted the public notice was given to the press and posted at City Hall and Police
Department on Tuesday. January 18,2000.
Commissioner Petfalski made a motion to approve the agenda items with Commissioner
Robert Rammer seconding. Motion carried unanimously.
Commissioner Rammer moved to approve the October 28Ih, 1999 meeting minutes
Commissioner Petfalski seconded, motion carried unanimously.
REORT FROM THE POLICE DEPARTMENT.
Chief Johnson reported on the following items:

Written Procedure for Hiring a Chief of Police - Commissioners Petfalski and
Moraga have been working on a procedure for the hiring of a chief of police.
Commissioner Petfalski presented questions the Commission can ask of
themselves to determine if an internal or external search is done along with
possible application requirements. A discussion ensued and it was determined
the process will continue.

Commissioner Petfalski moved the meeting be adjourned. Commissioner Rammer
seconded, motion carried unanimously. The meeting was adjourned at 8:35PM.
