The regular meeting of the Police & Fire Commission of the City of Muskego was held on
Thursday, July 15, 1999 in the Conference Room of the City of Muskego Police
Department. The meeting was called to order at 7:30PM by President Michael Kuwitzky.
Present were Commissioners Robert Rammer and Blenda Treba, and ChiefJohn Johnson.
Absent were Commissioners Roger Moraga and Richard Petfalski.
It was noted that the public notice was given to the press and posted at City Hall on
Monday, July 12, 1999.
Commissioner Rammer moved to approve the agenda items. Commissioner Treba
seconded, motion carried unanimously.
Commissioner Rammer moved to approve the minutes from the April 29, 1999 meeting.
Commissioner Treba seconded, motion carried unanimously.
REPORT FROM THE POLICE DEPARTMENT.
Chief Johnson reported on the following items:

5. Budget process for 2000 is underway. The 3rd out of 4 officers asked for to
create a patrol area in the southern section of the city will be asked for,
6. Tactical exercise held at the Muskego High School last month turned out to be
a very good exercise with the tactical teams and the school administration
learning a great deal.

NEW BUSINESS:
Kuwitzky to continue as President. Commissioner Treba seconded. Motion carried
unanimously. Michael Kuwitzky named as President.
Election of oflicers was held. Commissioner Rammer nominated Michael

It was decided to hold the election for the position of Vice-PresidedSecretary at
the meeting in October so that all five commissioners are present.
COMMUNICATIONS AND OTHER MATTERS AS AUTHORIZED BY LAW
Nothing
Commissioner Treba moved the meeting be adjourned until October 21, 1999 at 7:30PM.
Commissioner Rammer seconded and motion carried unanimously. The meeting was
adjourned at 7:55PM.
