The meeting of the Police and Fire Commission of the City of Muskego was held on
Saturday, January 4, 1997 in the conference room of the City of Muskego Police
Department for the purpose of holding oral interviews with applicants for the position of
Police Oficer with the City. The meeting was called to order at 7:30AM by Michael
Kuwitzy. Present were Commissioners Michael Kuwitzky, Richard Horn, Brenda Treba,
and Chief Johnson. Absent were Commissioners Robert Kreuser and William Martin.
Commissioner Kuwitzky moved that the agenda be approved as printed. Seconded by
Commissioner Horn. Motion carried unanimously.
Chief Johnson went over the procedure for the oral interviews and the scoring worksheet
with the commissioners. A discussion was held on the procedure that was to be used for
the oral interviews.
A motion was made by Commissioner Treba to move into closed session pursuant to State
Statutes, Section 19.85(l)(c): Considering employment, promotion, compensation, or
performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body
has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility for the specific purpose of considering
employment, promotion, compensation, or performance evaluation data, more specifically
to conduct oral interviews for the position of Patrol Officer, Commissioner Kuwitzky
seconded. By a roll call vote, motion carried 3-0.
The Police and Fire Commission reconvened into Open Session for the purpose of
adjournment. Commissioner Horn made a motion for adjournment which was seconded
by Commissioner Treba. The meeting was adjourned at 5: IOPM.
