The regular quarterly meeting of the Police and Fire Commission of
Conference room of the Muskego Police Department. The meeting was
the City of Muskego was held on Thursday, January 21, 1993, in the
Commissioners Robert Kreuser, James Haag, and Blenda Treba; and
called to order at 7:37PM by President Kreuser. Present were
Chief Johnson. Commissioners Horn and Martin were absent.

unanimously.

Chief Johnson reported the following:
1. The School Liaison Program is doing well with approximately 1/2
year completed. At the end of that time an evaluation will be
done by the School and the City.
2. The D.A.R.E. program will begin in the schools during the
second semester at which time we will receive the Grant money.
We will be looking for donations to fund this program next
year. E. J. Salentine has donated a 1993 Pontiac Grand Am for
the D.A.R.E. officer and School Liaison officer to use.
3. The Department will be receiving approximately $4,500 from the
CODE Drug unit. At least 20% of this money will be used for
financing the D.A.R.E. program for next year.
OLD BUSINESS: None.
NEW BUSINESS: It was decided to hold open the establishment of a
new eligibility list at this time with the testing procedure
commencing in fall for the possibility of hiring an additional
officer in 1994.
