pfcm19910711POLICE AND FIRE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MUSKEG0 The regular quarterly meeting of the Police and Fire Commission of the City of Muskego was held on Thursday, July 11, 1991, in the conference room of the Muskego Police Department. The meeting was called to order at 7: 32PM by President Kreuser. Commissioners Robert Kreuser, Richard Horn and Lev DeBack; and Chief Present were Johnson. Commissioners Haag and Treba were absent. Commissioner DeBack moved that the agenda be approved as printed. Seconded by Commissioner Horn. Motion carried unanimously. April 11 meeting, the names of the officers should be included after President Kreuser brought up that under #5 of the minutes of the "officers of the Commission." Commissioner Horn moved that the minutes of the April 11, 1991 meeting be approved as corrected. Seconded by Commissioner DeBack. Motion carried unanimously. Chief Johnson reported the following: 1. Sgt. Warhanek will be off the City's payroll as of the end of depleted. July when his vacation, sick and compensatory time are 2. Officer Rens is progressing well and has completed his road training. 3. He explained the 1991 water patrol operation since Gerald Warda quit. The water patrol boat is now being moored at one of JC Development's slips. He presented this matter to several City committees prior to obtaining permission for same. 4. The stop lights have been installed at Racine and Woods and will be operational in August. A Federal grant for $76,000 help finance these lights with the remaining $8,000 paid by the City. Old Business: None. New Business: Minutes of the Police & Fire Commission Meeting July 11, 1991 Page 2 **POLICY:** President Kreuser suggested that readings of a new policy be made at two separate meetings prior to the policy going into effect. One reading would be when the policy is proposed and the second reading would be at the followins meeting after which it would become policy. After a discussion on same, Commissioner DeBack made the motion that in the future all policies initiated and developed by reading of it at the second meeting. Seconded by Commissioner Horn. the Muskego Police and Fire Commission go into effect after the Motion carried unanimously. It was suggested that a list of the policies of the Commission be distributed to the Commissioners. Commissioner DeBack moved that the meeting be adjourned to Thursday, October 10, 1991.
