pfcm19901025POLICE AND FIRE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MUSKEG0 October 25. 1990 The regular quarterly meeting of the Police and Fire Commission of the City of Muskego was held on Thursday, October 25, 1990, in the conference room oE the Muskego Police Department. The meeting was called to order at 7:33PM by President Kreuser. Present were Commissioners Robert Kreuser, James Haag, and Richard Horn; and Chief Johnson. Commissioners DeBack and Treba were absent. Commissioner Haag moved that the minutes of the July 12, 1990 meeting be adopted as published. Seconded by Commissioner Horn. Motion carried unan- imously. Chief Johnson reported the following information: The 1991 Budget is in the process of being adopted. The Mayor has stated that it appears like the E-911 phone equipment will be installed the first part of November and E-911 City's portion of the budget will reflect little or no increase in taxes. The will be operational December 3. Police Department personnel will be speaking at various community meetings and at the schools to educate the citizens on remodeled for the IBM/400 computer system and the office of the Informational the use of E-911. Part of the basement of the Police Station is being Systems Director who the City will be hiring the first part of 1991. A meeting room is also being completed In the basement. There are some discipline problems with one of the civilian employees, however, City Attorney Molter has advised that the Commission is not reponsible for civilian employees and if there is a dispute over any civilian discipline, it should be handled through the grievance procedure established in the union contract. The 1991 Police Budget was discussed with Chief Johnson answering any questions that the Commissioners had. There was no Old Business, New Business or Correspondence. January 10, 1991. Seconded by Commissioner Horn. Motion carried unanimously. Commissioner Haag moved that the meeting be adjourned to 7 :30pM on Thursday, The meeting adjourned at 8:24PM. Respectfully submitted,
