The meeting was called to order at 7:35R1 by Vice President/Secretary Kreuser. Present were Commissioners Robert Kreuser, James Haag, Richard Horn, Blenda Treba and Lev DeBack; and Chief Johnson. Commissioner Kreuser requested that the Commissioners' approval of hiring the new police officer be added to the agenda for tonight's meeting. Commissioner Horn moved that the minutes of the January 12, 1989 meeting be approved as published. Seconded by Commissioner Haag. Motion carried unanimously. Approval of Hiring New Officer: Chief Johnson reported that the top applicant on the eligibility list was eliminated due to background investigation. The second applicant, Jeffrey Zambo, has passed all the examinations and, if approved by the Commission, will be hired effective May 1, 1989 and start Recruit School at Waukesha County Technical College on that date. Commissioner Treba moved that Jeffrey Zambo be approved for hiring by the Muskego Police Department; seconded by Commissioner DeBack. Motion carried unanimously. There was no correspondence. The Oral Interviewing Board consisted of Commissioners Kreuser, Treba and DeBack; and Police Lieutenant commencing at 6:30R1. Interviews were scheduled every 30 minutes with 20 Daley. The interviews were held on the evenings of April 3rd, 4th, and 5th minutes allotted for the interview itself and 10 minutes for discussion by the Board.
