The regular quarterly meeting of the Police and Fire Commission of the
City of Muskego was held on Thursday, July 30, 1987, in the conference room of
the Police Department. The meeting was called to order at 8:07PM by President
Purdy. Present were President Purdy; Secretary Kreuser; Commissioners Richard
Horn and Blenda Treba; and Chief Johnson. Commissioner James Haag was absent.
Commissioner Horn moved that the minutes of the April 23, 1987 meeting be
approved as presented. Seconded by Commissioner Kreuser. Motion carried
unanimously.
Chief Johnson reported the following:
1. There have been a large number of tire slashing complaints in the
Little Muskego Lake area.
2. In the Federal crime statistics just published, the City of Muskego
is the second lowest in the state for Part I crimes in cities with a
population above 10,000 people.
3. The City won the smoking grievance through arbitration.
4. Officer Hendrickson graduated from Recruit School and is now in
training here in the City.
5. A part-time telecommunicator and a part-time court clerk have been
hired.
OLD BUSINESS :
Commissioner Kreuser questioned same. Chief Johnson stated he would bring

in the recruitment process was brought up.
COMMUNICATIONS: There were none.

Since there were conflicts with the meeting date of October 15, the meeting
was rescheduled for October 22, 1987.
