pfcm19860717POLICE AND FIRE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MUSKEG0 July 17, 1986 The regular quarterly meeting of the Police and Fire Commission of the City of Muskego was held on Thursday, July 17, 1986, in the conference room of the Police Department. me meeting was called to order at 8:08PM by president Purdy. Present were President Purdy; Secretary Kreuser; Commissioners Haag, Horn, and Treba; and Chief Johnson. Commissioner Horn made the motion to approve the minutes of the sa I", 1986 meeting as written. Commissioner Haag questioned the "He" in the 116 item reported by Chief Johnson. Secretary Kreuser stated it was correct as it stands. unanimously. btion was seconded by Commissioner Haag. Motion carried Chief Johnson reported the following: 1. As of July 1, Officer Nelson has returned to patrol with our department after serving as an undercover officer with CODE (Cooperative Drug Enforcement Group of Waukesha County) for eleven months. He turned in 18 drug pushers and had the largest LSD arrest in Wisconsin. He was re-evaluated by Dr. Claditis, the psychologist, before returning to our department and from all indications appears fine. 2. The Waukesha and Milwaukee County Chiefs of Police are pushing to have the 911E system implemented statewide with funding financed by the telephone rebate. He also explained the 911E system. 3. Inv. Budish was promoted to Detective Sergeant and Officer Kukowski was promoted to Detective. The Common Council did grant a salary increase to Det. Sgt. Budish with the matter to be discussed further in negotations for 1987. 4. The Police Staff is working on the 1987 Budget. Copies of this budget will be sent to the Commissioners when completed. One recruitment testing will be included in this budget for establishment of a new eligibility list. OLD BUSINESS: Eligibility List: Consultants, Inc. which Dr. Claditis recommends.
