POLICE AND FIRE COMMISSION OF THE

June 4, 1985
A special meeting of the Police and Fire Commission of the City of
Muskego was held on Tuesday, June 4, 1985, in the conference room of the
Police Department. The meeting was called to order at 7:07PM by President
Swarthout. Present were President Swarthout, Secretary Kreuser, James
Haag, Kenneth Purdy, and Chief Johnson. Mr. Horn was absent.

A discussion was held on the written test scores of the police appli-
cants. Mr. Kreuser moved to interview the top 22 applicants with a
written score of above 142. Seconded by Mr. Purdy. Motion carried unan-
imously.
Mr. bag moved that the oral interviews be held on Wednesday,
June 19, 1985, starting at 8:OOAM. Seconded by Mr. Kreuser. Motion car-
ried unanimously. The interviews are to be held at twenty minute inter-
vals utilizing the same questions as in the past.
The next regular quarterly meeting is scheduled for Thursday,
July 18, 1985 at 8:OOPM.
Chief Johnson reported that Sgt. Daley and Sgt. Meeks attended an
assessment center on May 28 and 29 for evaluation as part of the procedure
for promotion to Lieutenant. Five officers will be interviewed on June 5
as part of the promotion procedure for the Sergeant's position. The
