'Ihe meeting was called to order at 7:02PM by President Swarthout. Motion was seconded by Mr. Horn. The voting was as follows: President Swarthout - yes, Secre- tary Kreuser - yes, Walter Bohrer - yes, Richard Horn - yes, and Kenneth Purdy - yes. Motion carried unanimously. CLOSED SESSION RECONVENED INTO OPEN SESSION interviewing the eligible candidates from within the Department for the Mr. Kreuser moved that the following resolution be passed: "After position of Chief of Police and having satisfied ourselves that these candidates fulfill the qualifications for the position, that we resolve to stay within the Department and promote from within the Department."
