The meeting was called to order at 8:OZPM by President Swarthout. Present vcre President Swarthout, Walter Bohrer, Richard Horn, Robert Kreuser and Lieutenant Jghnson. Kenneth Purdy was absent. described on the agenda for the purpose of discussing personnel matters Mr. Bohrer moved to go into closed session following the business as excluded under State Statute 19.85(1)(c): Considering employment. promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employe over which the governmental body has jurisdiction OK exercises responsibility for the specific purpose of considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data concerning the Motion was seconded by Mr. Horn. The voting was as follows: President appointment of an Acting Chief of Police and/or a new Chief of Police. Swarthout - yes, Secretary Kreuser - yes, Richard Horn - yes, and Walter Bohrer - yes. Motion carried unanimously. OPEN SESSION OF THE HEETING: 0 approved as written. Seconded by Mr. Horn. Motion Carried unanimously. Mr. KKeUSeK moved that the minutes of the March 14, 1985 meeting be OLD BUSINESS: Lt. Johnson proposed that the sentence, "Wisconsin certified police officers may be eligible for an immediate vacancy," be added to the advertisement for police officer. He requested a separate eligibility list of certified officers be made requiring only oral interviews and not the written test in order to hasten the hiring process. A certified officer could be hired within a very short period of time as Officer filled according to a new policy passed by the Muskego Common Council. Sherri ksson resigned effective March 28, 1985 and that position can be Mr. Horn moved that the advertisement with the additional line inserted be used. Mr. Kreuser seconded the motion.
