POLICE AND FIRE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MUSKEGO
September 27, 1984
A special meeting of the Police and Fire Commission of the City of
Muskego was held on Thursday, September 27, 1984, in the conference room
of the Police Department. The meeting was called to order at 8:OZPM by
President Swarthout. Present were President Swarthout, Walter Bohrer,
Richard Horn, Ken Purdy, and Chief Scholz. Robert Kreuser was absent.
Mr. Ken Purdy was introduced. He was appointed by Mayor Salentine
to fill the unexpired term of Commissioner Young who resigned at the
last meeting.
Mr. Horn moved to go into closed session €or the purpose of
discussing personnel matters as excluded under State Statute
19.85 (l)(c): Considering employment, promotion, compensation or
performance evaluation data of any public employe over which the
governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. The
motion was seconded by Mr. Purdy. Motion carried unanimously.
Mr. Bohrer moved to interview the top 25 applicants with the
highest scores from the written exam. Seconded by Mr. Horn. Motion
carried unanimously.
Mr. Horn moved that 15 minute oral interviews be held on October 27
starting at 8:OOAM at the Police Station. Seconded by Mr. Purdy.
Motion carried unanimously.
President Swarthout. Mr. Horn, and Mr. Purdy will comprise the oral
board.
Mr. Horn moved to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by Mr. Bohrer.
Motion carried unanimously.
The meeting adjourned at 9:OSPM.
