The September meeting of the Fire and Police CommissioB for the City
of Muskego, was called to order by President William Ahrens on Thursday,
September 6, 1973, at 8:15 p.m. in the office of the Chief of Police
at the Muskego Police Department.
Members present were Mr. Ahrens, Mr. Bohrer, Mr. Lindner, and Chief Of
Police Ervin W. Kraus.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and the sixth paragraph was
corrected to read as follows:
"Mr. Ahrens reminded us not to have the outside door locked
when the Commission is meeting for other than Personnel
Discussions, and to inform the evening Dispatcher to let
advance notice of such meeting up in the front lobby of the
citizens into the meeting if they so desire plus placing an
Muskego Police Department."
The minutes were approved as corrected.
Chief Kraus reported that Kathy Masch has replaced Judy Masch and
that Eunice Merryfield has replaced Connie Herda as Dispatchers and
Lt. Chester Kass has left for the position of Chief at Greenfield
Police Department.
Chief Kraus reported on the Team Policing Program that has been approved
by the City Council and will be sent to Madison next month for approval
of the Grant. The main objective of the Program being more responsive to
the citizens of the community by the Police Department.
Chief Kraus reported a meeting with the J.C."s who want to do something
Hand-Out headed the list as the project which is still in the discussion
for the community. Having a Halloween Hand-In instead of Halloween
stage.
There being no old business and no further business, Mr. Lindner moved
to adjourn the meeting, Mr. Bohrer seconded and the meeting adjourned
at 9:15 p.m.
