POLICE AND FIRE COMMISSION MEETING
April 8, 1971
The April meeting of the Fire and Police Conmission for the City of Muskego was
called to order by President William Ahrens on Thursday, April 8, 1971 at 8:OO pm
in the office of the Chief of Police.
Members present were Mr. William Ahrens, Mr. Walter Bohrer, Mr. Richard Horn, Mr. Warren Moser and Chief of Police, Ervin W. Kraus.
As there had been no business to discuss, no meetings were held in December,
January, February or March.
The minutes of the previous meeting in November, 1970 were read, The word
"moved" in the third paragraph was changed to read "suggested". The minutes
were approved as corrected.

Police Department and has had three years of experience. He will attend the
Wauwatosa Training School in May to become familiar with Wisconsin laws and
police practices.
The Number 2 man on the eligibility list, Francis Graziano, refused the
position because it would mean leaving New York. He requested that his name
be removed from the eligibility list.
The Number 3 candidate, Richard J. Eddings, received a negative background
check because of numerous traffic arrests. His name will remain on the eligi-
bility list for future consideration.

of the old eligibility list in regards to Mr. Kassulke not being hired and the

Feurer. The motion was seconded by Mr. Horn and the motion passed unanimously.
Chief Kraus recmended that the Commissioners approve the hiring of Mr. &eks,
the Number 1 candidate on the new eligibility list. Mr. Horn motioned that the

the motion passed unanimously.
Mr. Bohrer motioned that the Commissioners approve the promotion of DuWayne
Dzibinski, the Number 1 candidate on the eligibility list resulting from
competive examination, to the position of Investigator-Juveniles effective
April 1, 1971. Mr. Moser seconded the motion and the motion passed unanimously.
Mr. Horn motioned that the Cormnissioners approve the Chief's appointment of Mr. Glas, who was the Number 5 man on the eligibility list, to the position of
