pfcm19690814CITY OF MUSKEGO FIRE AND POLICE COMMISSION August 14, 1969 The August meeting of the Fire and Police Comission for the City of Muskego was called to order by President William Ahrens at 8:05 p.m. on Thursday, August 14, 1969 in the office of the Chief of Police. Members present were Mr William Ahrens, Mr Richard Horn, Mr Bernard Lindner, Mr Warren Moser, and Chief of Police Ervin W Kraus. The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as read. Mr Ahrens read the Resolution passed by the Common Council authorizing the title change for two positions from sergeant to lieutenant. Mr Lindner reported that, after a conversation with the Mayor, he believed that the Resolution was not meant as a title change but as an addition of two positions. Mr Ahrens re- quested that Mr Lindner check further with the Mayor and give the Comission Lindner agreed to do so. the correct interpretation of the Resolution at the next regular meeting. If the meeting with the State Bureau of Personnel is held on August 28, 1969, the Commissioners will meet at 7:OO p.m. instead of 8:OO p.m. in order to allow time to discuss the resumes. A correspondance from Mr William Kassulke was read advising the Commission of his tentative plans to return to the States on or about November 1, 1969 and his desire to participate in any further examinations necessary for his remaining on the eligibility list at that time. Mr Ahrens advised the Comission of the remarks that he intends to make at August 17, 1969 congratulating the fire department on behalf of the Fire the dedication of the new Muskego Fire Department sub station on Sunday, and Police Comission.
