The regular meeting of the Fire and Polioe Oommission was held on

The minutes of the meeting of May 9, 1968 were read by noting
recretary W. MoEer, and approved as read.
The firnt order of business was an eleotion of president nnd
secretary. Mr. William Ahrens WE nominated by Mr. Walter Bohrer md
seconded by Mr. Warren Moser. Mr. Ahrens was elected preddent by a
Mr. Walter Bohrer and seconded by Mr. E. Lindner. Mr. MoEer was
unanimus ballot. Mr. Uarren Moeer was nominated for secretary by
elected secretary by a unanimous ballot.
Ohief Kraus made a report on his meeting with the Mayor in a regards to funds available to start a new eligibility list. The
Mayor informed Chief Kraus that funds would be made available. An
open di8CUssion was held on this. It was agreed that Mr. Ahrens
contact the Oity Hall and get a report on the amount of money spent
by the Cbnission last year. This would help us in setting up a budget
to present to the Council.

meeting will be held on July 18, 1968 at 8100 PM, at the City Police
Department.
