Denoon Park Grass Seeding
A revised quote for the grass seeding at Denoon Park based on a 90% take rate, watering,
and a completion date of September 15, 2001 was presented to the Board. A quote in the
amount of $9,700 would guarantee a 90% take rate, labor for watering, and a completion
date of September 15, 2001. Watering will be completed by using water from the
Denoon Middle School fire hydrant, hosing from our Muskego Utilities Department, and
either renting, buying, or receiving a donation from the Muskego Kickers for a water
cannon. Worst-case scenario for having to purchase a water cannon would not exceed
$3,000. Discussion took place on what the percentages were for the grass seed mixture.
This information will be gotten from F&W Landscape Specialists. Mr. Hulbert moved
to approve the extra $1,500 from the original quote, which brings the total to $9,700,
and a not to exceed amount of $3,000 for a water cannon and booster pump to be
used for watering of the grass. Ald. Wichgers seconded. Upon a voice vote, the
motion carried with Mr. Whipple abstaining due to his association with the soccer
club.
Adjournment – There being no further business, Mr. Manchester moved for
adjournment at 5:20 p.m. Seconded by Mr. Hulbert. Upon a voice vote, the motion
carried.
Respectfully submitted,
Craig Anderson, Parks & Recreation Director
