residents. Thinks the access needs to be off of Martin Drive. He will fight the purchase.
Ron Ford thinks the Board should look into the future, and buy
now before it turns into a subdivision. When land is gone, it
is gone. If it were to become a subdivision, it would increase
taxes and decrease water quality. He goes on record to support
this purchase.
Bob Yanke has electric fence for his horses. Will the City put
in proper fencing?
Dan Stetler concerned by the financial impact. Would consider
an offer to be bought out.
Tari Stetler would like to work with the City to solve any problems, but has concerns.
Mayor De Angelis said Martin Drive access has been discussed,
but at this time, Mrs. Martin is not interested. He met with
Mr. and Mrs. Stetler and feels. it is important that the City
along with the Parks and Recreation Board look at the impact.
Harry Harenda has water problem now...(past 42 years). How
will this park, if sloped towards him, affect his property?
Sally Vogt asked what is the time period for completion of this park? Also, wanted to know if there would be a vote taken in
the City regarding the ice rink?
Dan Stetler wanted to know what plans are for east end of the park if the ice rink was not built?
Mayor De Angelis talked about the parks master plan to locate a park in the north central part of the City.
Dawn Postler suggested that speed limit on College be reduced
for safety reasons.
Angie Huebner questioned, after tonight, who do they talk to
next regarding the park and ice rink?
Lynn Bullis asked when the decision would be made on buying
this land for a park?
At 7:15 p.m., motion made by Richard Manchester, seconded by
