The Board was in receipt of a request from Coach Phil Hamm to use Denoon Park for his cross-country ski events. The Board
deferred action at this time.
OLD BUSINESS:
Kurth Park basketball backboard
Pete will order basketball backboard and install after the 1st
of the year.
Alternite site for Kurth Park proposed development
The Board members discussed other potential sites for the type
of facility being proposed at Kurth Park. They will continue to
do further research.
Horn & Jensen Park fieldhouse custodial services
The department is in need of a custodian for Horn and Jensen
fieldhouses since the resignation of Mrs. Frami. Gordy
presented to the Board a proposal from the City's cleaning
service. Adele Kehoe made motion to defer and to give Gordy
direction to discuss with Mayor. Alderwoman Woodard seconded.
Motion carried.
DEPARTMENT REPORTS:
RECREATION
Proqram status
Gordy reported that the tree lighting was great, a huge success.
The correspondence for the 1995 ball diamond schedule has been
sent out to all league managers. He discussed possible cost
sharing proposal with community weightlifting project.
Facility availability for recreation proqrams
Next year some programs may be in jeopardy as schools may be
adding more athletic programs, so recreation teams may be cut
back due to lack of facility time.
City/School District Facility aqreement
The Board reviewed the addendum to the agreement with the school
distict for use of facilities.
PARKS
Job description for new employee
The Board reviewed the job description for the new employee,
Parks Maintenance Person II, as submitted by Pete. Adele Kehoe

moved to approve new employee job description. Alderwoman
Woodard seconded. Motion carried.
Muskeqo Recreation Trail (County Park-Vernon)
The Board reviewed the County Park-Vernon portion of the Muskego Recreation Trail and no action was taken regarding a decision to
allow horses on the trail.
Purchase of W.E.P.Co. land (Biq Muskeqo Lake Access)
Adele Kehoe made motion to purchase W.E.P.Co. land for $l,OOO.OO from park dedication fees. Howard Schneider seconded. Motion
carried. Question was raised as to the possibility of getting
this money reimbursed.
Lake access ramp at Idle Isle
Pete reported the concrete has been poured, landscaping and
final asphalt layer to be done in the spring.
NEW BUSINESS, OTHER BUSINESS:
Subdivision plans from Plan Commission
There were no plans presented for the Board to review.
COMMUNICATIONS AND MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS AS AUTHORIZED BY LAW:
There was none.
