BASEBALL SUB-COMMITTEE MEETING
PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT, CITY OF MUSKEGO
MONDAY, MARCH 23, 1992
The sub-committee meeting of the Parks and Recreation Board
to determine the use of the ball fields under their jurisdiction was called to order by Chairperson Ron Stephens
at 6.05 p.m.
PRESENT: Ron Stephens, Alderman Dan Hilt,, Richard Manchester,
Gordon Jacobson (Recreation Director)
GUESTS (see attached list)
BUSINESS: The sub-committee members reviewed the master schedule for baseball/softball leagues for the
1992 season, taking into consideration any conflicts and the
individual requests from leagues.
Several options were discussed for the master schedule. The
following will be recommended to the full Board in April'
1. Option #4--baseball/%oftball schedule approved with the following adjustments:
A. *Women's league retain used of Mill Valley #3 (lights.)
on Thursday.
B. *M.A.A. Junior Boys will be on Bluhm #l, #3 and Kurth
on Wednesday and Thursday.
*M.A.A. has expanded leagues on Bay Lane #l, #2, #3, #4
for Friday and Saturday.
C. *Couples league is relocated to Jensen on Fridays.
D. *Men's league shall utilize Bay Lane #4 on Wednesdays.
2. Regarding lighting additional diamonds, it was recommended
that the park board assign a sub-committee comprising of representatives from all the leagues to further research
the situation.

3. Discussion on the used lights for sale at the Sports Club
in Oshkosh. It was recommended that the lights be
considered an option for purchase.
ADJOURNMENT. There being no further business, Ron Stephens
moved to adjourn; Richard Manchester seconded.
Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
