MINUTES
SUB-COMMITTEE MEETING, PARKS & RECREATION BOARD, CITY OF MUSKEGO
WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 27, 1991
The sub-committee meeting of the Parks and Recreation Board to review the
master schedule for baseball/softball leagues for 1991 was called to order
by Parks Director Pete Theis at 5:30 p.m.
PRESENT: Therese Rilling, Ronald Stephens, Gordon L. Jacobson (Recreation
Director) and Pete Theis (Parks Director)
BUSINESS:
#l Muskego High School teams get first scheduling priority on Bluhm Farm
fields and at Horn Field should conflicts arise.
Note: Back-to-back usage of these fields will occur on these dates--
Bluhm Farm al, Thursday, May 2; Muskego High School (3:15 p.m.-
6:00 p.m.), Muskego Athletic Association (6:OO p.m.). Bluhm
Farm #3, Thursday, May 9; Muskego High School (3:15 p.m.-6:OO p.m.),
Women (6:OO p.m.).
#2 Waukesha County Flames Thursday request was not granted, must use
alternative day. The only alternative day open on Bluhm Farm #3 for the
Flames is Friday.
l #3 Muskego Athletic Association will be given Mill Valley #3 on Thursday
with the Muskego Women's League given their alternative site (high
school).
#4 Women's League tournament would be given first priority for maintenance
requests on June 22 and 23 and raindates (if needed) July 20-21.
1/5 The Waukesha County Mavericks tournament starting time of 8:00 a.m. on
June 22 and 23 is subject to delay.
#6 Special Events: Muskegofest request to use Horn on August 24.
Clinic request to use Bluhm on May 11, raindate May 18.
Dates granted, details to be worked out at full Board meeting.
117 On use of Kurth, Muskego Athletic Association must postpone Wednesday
night starting date to May 29th or use alternative site due to soccer
schedule. The M.A.A. junior boys program will use Bluhm Farm #3 on
Mondays and Wednesdays instead of Kurth.
/18 The M.A.A. senior boys program are moved from Horn to Bluhm Farm //2
on Tuesday and Thursday.
//9 The Mavericks (Puddles) will not be granted the use of Bluhm Farm 12
on Tuesdav. Alternatives will be Monday or Wednesday or work around
l the high school program at Horn.
