PARKS & RECREATION BOARD, CITY OF MUSKEGO
MONDAY, AUGUST 12, 1991
The meeting of the Parks and Recreation Board, City of Muskego,
was called to order at 5;30 p.m. by President Jerald Hulbert.
PRESENT: Alderman Dan Hilt, Jerald Hulbert, Fran Burgeson, Richard Manchester, Tom Millonzi, Adele Kehoe,
Ron Stephens, Gordon L. Jacobson (Recreation Director)
and Peter Theis (Parks Director)
GUESTS: Mayor Salentine, Art Takishian
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Richard Manchester moved to approve, as mailed, the minutes of
the July 8 meeting. Alderman Hilt seconded. Motion carried.
PERSONAL APPEARANCES.
Little Muskego Lake Assn donation
Art Takishian presented to the Parks and Recreation Board a
check for $200 from Little Muskego Lake Association. Lakefest a was quite successful.
WRITTEN CORRESPONDENCE,
High School request for Horn Park
Student Council requests use of Horn Field to commence the
October 5 Homecoming. The parade would begin at Horn Field.
Richard Manchester moved to grant the Student Council request. Adele Kehoe seconded. Motion carried.
OLD BUSINESS
Addendum,~ to License Agreement/Muskego Recreation Trail
The Board members reviewed the addendum to the license agreement
with WEpCo on the Muskego Recreation Trail. The new lease
agreement has basically been set aside.
DEPARTMENT REPORTS:
Parks
Recognition of George Rodell/Richard Manchester
About 80 hours of volunteer work has been donated to the City
a in the way of signage by both George Rode11 and Rich&d Manchester.

Recreation
The Fall/Winter/Spring brochure will be coming out the week ~of
August 15.
NEW BUSINESS, OTHER BUSINESS:
Subdivision plans from Plan Commission
Affordable housing PUD development between Durham and Woods Roads
proposal was presented.
Lake Point Estates West subdivision plat map was shared.
Lakeview Highlands preliminary plat was viewed.
Country Brooks Estates was reviewed.
Meadow Green West, Addn 3--The Board was questioning the time-
table for blacktopping of the bike trail.
Lake Forest II was shared with the Board.
NEXT MEETING:
The next Board meeting on September 9, the Board will be looking
at budgets.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, Fran Burgeson moved to adjourn
for the park tour. Seconded by Richard Manchester. Motion
carried. The meeting adjourned at 8:45 p.m.
The members of the Board and the Parks Director and Recreation
Director toured the City parks and related areas.
