PARKS & RECREATION:BOARD:MEETING
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 1990
The meeting to review budgets was called to order by President Jesald Hulbert
at 6:20 p.m.
PRESENT: Alderman Hilt, Jerald Hulbert, Adele Kehoe, Richard Manchester,
Thomas Millonzi, Therese Rilling, Ronald Stephens, Gordon Jacobson
(Recreation Director) and Pete Theis (Parks Director)
ABSENT: Richard Manchester
GUESTS: Leonard Wozniak, Agnes Posbrig, Ron Peters, Judy Peters, Aaron Peters
MUSKEGO HISTORICAL SOCIETY'S OPERATING & CAPITAL BUDGETS
Motion by Ron Stephens to approve costs of Items 1 (sewer charges for the Town
Hall), 2 (electricity bills), 4 (cutting the grass at the Settlement Centre
which includes the parking lot, between the rail fencing, the main greenway, and
the road path), 5 (snow plowing of gravel road), and 6 (furnish 4 metro-johns
and 6 garbage cans with extra liners. Transportation of 6 picnic tables and
garbage cans to andback for Civil War days. Seconded by Therese Rilling.
Motion carried.
RECREATION DIVISION OPERATING BUDGET
Ron Stephens made a motion to accept the budget pending results of Public
Welfare Committee meeting on Thursday, September 13, regarding Cable Club
capital budget. Tom Millonzi seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Ron Stephens moved to defer Cable Club capital budget to Public Welfare
Committee. Therese Rilling seconded. Motion passed.
PARKS DIVISION OPERATING BUDGET
Ron Stephens moved to accept the operating budget of the Parks Department.
Therese Rilling seconded. Motion passed.
PARKS DIVISION CAPITAL OUTLAY
Ron Stephens moved, Adele Kehoe seconded, to approve the $24,500 in equipment
(the first three items listed). Motion carried. Therese Rilling moved, Ron
Stephens seconded, to approve a building plan, minimum of 7,000 square feet.
Motion carried.
PARKS DIVISION CAPITAL BUDGET
Ron Stephens moved to accept the capital budget of the Parks Dedication Account,
approve all except playground equipment. Alderman Hilt seconded. Motion
passed.

There being no further business, Adele Kehoe moved, Alderman Hilt seconded,
to adjourn. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 11:30 p.m.
