PARKS & RECREATION BOARD SUB-COMMITTEE MEETING
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 27, 1990
The sub-comittee meeting of the Parks and Recreation Board to review
future expansion of Muskego's recreation trail was called to order
by President Jerald Hulbert at 1:30 P.M.
PRESENT: Jerald Hulbert, Tom Millonzi, Therese Rilling, and Pete Theis
(Parks Supervisor)
The committee discussed Phase 4 of the bike trail. The length of Phase 4
is (approximately) 1 mile, at a cost of 75 cents per running foot (less
labor cost).
Therese Rilling made a motion that once Meadow Green connection is made,
we will make Canfield connection. Tom Millonzi seconded. All in favor,
motion carried.
Possible later connections with Bluhm Park and with Muskego County Park
were discussed.
Phase 5 of the trail would connect to Bluhm and Horn Parks.
Phase 6 of the trail would connect to Muskego County Park.
Discussion of paving of section fronting Muskego Elementary School
(Highway L path). The length of this section would be 350'-380'
(30' already paved) at an estimated cost of $4,750 ($12.50 per foot).
Therese Rilling made a motion that we pursue Highway L continuation
and that Pete contact the superintendent of schools concerning cost
sharing. Tom Millonzi seconded. Motion carried.
ADJOURNMENT:
There being no further business, Tom Millonzi moved, Therese Rilling
seconded, to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried. The meeting adjourned
at 2:lO p.m.
