PRB012290minutesMINUTES PARKS &RECREATION SPECIAL BOARD MEETING MONDAY, JANUARY 22, 1990 The meeting was called to order at 6:ll P.M. by.President Jerald Hulbert. PRESENT: Jerald Hulbert, Adele Kehoe, Richard Manchester, Therese Rilling, Ronald Stephens, and Jackie Schweitzer (Recreation Supervisor) ABSENT: Alderman Dan Hilt, Thomas Millonzi, and Peter Theis (excused) GUESTS: Wil Vidal, Matt Soik Request for use of Idle Isle Park for removal of dredging materials Wil Vidal and Matt Soik appeared to ask permission to use Idle Isle Park for trucks to cross with sediment removal from the channel near their property, as a means to complete their dredging project. Richard Manchester moved to approve the request of the use of Idle Isle, with the stipulation that the beach or boat launch areas will be restored to the original form; also that a $5,000 bond/escrow be available to the City in case of problems. Required that total restoration, if needed, be completed by May 1st for the opening of fishing season. Contractor and applicants (Vidal and Soik) will work directly with Parks Supervisor to determine access point. Ron Stephens seconded. Motion carried.
