PARKS & RECREATION BOARD SPECIAL MEETING
MONDAY, APRIL 23, 1990
This special meeting of the Parks and Recreation Board was called to
order by President Jerald Hulbert at 3:50 P.M.
PRESENT: Jerald Hulbert, Adele Kehoe, Richard Manchester, Therese
Rilling, and Ronald Stephens. Peter Theis, Parks Supervisor,
was present for the open portion of the meeting.
ABSENT: Ald. Dan Hilt, Thomas Millonzi
GUEST: Judith & Kenneth Grew
CLOSED SESSION:
Richard Manchester moved, Ron Stephens seconded, to go into Closed Session
pursuant to 519.85 (1) (C). Considering employment, promotion, compensation
or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the govern-
mental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility, more specifically
to review applications for the position of Recreation Supervisor and narrow
the field of applicants. Upon a voice vote with all members present voting
yea, the motion carried.
Richard Manchester moved, Therese Rilling seconded, to go back into Open
Session at 5:15 P.M. Motion carried.
IDLE ISLE CONCESSION STAND PROPOSAL:
The members of the Board reviewed Kenneth and Judith Grew's proposal for
the Idle Isle concession stand. Richard Manchester moved to go to $15Oltitith
for first season with a one-year lease for 1990 and then negotiable for next
year (1991). Therese Rilling seconded. Motion carried.
ADJOURNMENT:
There being no further business, Theses? Rilling moved, Richard Manchester
seconded, to adjourn the meeting. The motion carried. The meeting adjourned
at 6:03 P.M.
