PARKS AND RECREATION SUB-COMMITTEE MEETING
CITY OF MUSKEGO
FRIDAY, JUNE 24, 1988
This special sub-committee meeting was called to order at 1O:lO A,M. by Chair-
person Jerry Hulbert.
PRESENT: Jerald Hulbert, Thomas Millonzi, Therese Rilling, and Peter Theis
(Parks Supervisor)
BUSINESS:
(1) Jerry Hulbert reviewed past history of bike paths. Looked at paths in
Milwaukee County.and Racine County.
(2) Tom Millonzi moved to stage the development of Muskego Recreation Trail
as follows:
Phase I - section between Pioneer Drive and Lannon Drive
Phase II - section between Lannon Drive and Woods Road/Bay Lane
Phase III - section between Pioneer Drive and Racine Avenue (Highway Y)
Therese Rilling seconded the motion. Motion carried.
(3) Signs: Therese Rilling moved that the Parks Supervisor will get prices on
signs and gates and will report back; a total of four (4) signs will be needed
to begin the project. Tom Millonzi seconded. Motion carried.
(4) John Loughney, Superintendent of Public Works, indicated opening trails in
Phase I by festival date (August 27) might be a possibility.
ADJOURNMENT:
Tom Flillonzi moved to adjourn the meeting at 11:30 A.M. Therese Rilling seconded
the motion. Motion carried.
