PARKS AND RECREATION BOARD SUB-COMMITTEE MEETING
CITY OF MUSKEGO
Monday, October 15, 1984
The sub-committee meeting to review the rough draft of the policies
as discussed at the September 25, 1984, meeting and to make a recommend-
ation to the Parks and Recreation Board for any changes they might
recommend to implement for operations in the Parks and Recreation
Department was called to order by Joe Weitzer at 6:00 p.m.
Committee members present were Vickie Hauser, Richard Manchester,
Joe Weitzer, Jackie St. Mary (Recreation Supervisor) and Peter Theis
(Parks Supervisor).
Minutes of September 25, 1984
The section of the minutes referring to the Recreation Refund Policy
should be prefaced by the fact that what is referred to in the minutes
is an addition to the existing refund policy; not a replacement of the
existing policy.
The section of the minutes referring to the Softball Tournament Policy
should be prefaced by the fact that what is referred to in the minutes
is an addition to the existing tournament policy; not a replacement of
the existing policy.
Changes to the rough draft were made to better clarify certain areas,
as per attached to these minutes.
A motion was made by Vickie Hauser to approve the amended minutes of
the September 25 meeting. Richard Manchester seconded the motion.
The motion carried.
MHS (Muskego High School) Pool
The rough draft of the "Policy For Pool Rental" was discussed. The
Muskego Life Sports Organization was added as Priority III whose charges
would be $4.30/hour. Priority IV and V would be charged $15.00/hour.
Tennis Court Etiquette
Adults have priority over children under the age of 15 on week nights
after 5:00 p.m. and during summer months. "After 5:00 p.m." was added
to this statement.
Permit for Beer
Alcoholic beverages and liquor were deleted from this policy. Only beer
will be permitted.
Final drafts of all policy changes will be mailed to all Board members.
Final approval of policies will be made at the November Parks and
Recreation Board meeting.

Richard Manchester moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:04 p.m. Vickie
Hauser seconded the motion. The motion carried.
