PRB040284minutesMIN UTES SPECIAL MEETING, PARKS & RECREATION BOARD CITY OF MIJSKFGO APRIL 2, 1984 The special meeting of the Parks and Recreation Board was called to order at 7:Ol PM by Mr. Arrowood. PRESENT: Dick Arrowood, Richard Manchester, Carl Wauer, Karen Wesell, Vickie Hauser, Joe Weitzer, Ralph Tomczyk, Peter Theis (Parks Supervisor) and Jackie St. Mary (Recreation Supervisor). GUESTS: See attached list. OLD BUSINESS: Fun Fest Approval Reconsideration Mr. Wil Vidal Dresented the total exoendituras of Fun Fest for 1982 and 1983. L The members of the Board Goiced concern mainly over the lawsuit being conducted by the LMLA (Little Muskego Lake Association) at the conmissioners of the Lake district who allowed residents to leave the lake district. Vickie Hauser made a motion to rescind the original motion of the dates for LMLA Fun Fest; Karen Wesel.1 seconded. In a 4-3 vote, the motion was denied. Carl Wauer, Ralph Tomczyk, Richard Manchester, and Richard Arrowood were those voting to deny the rescindment. Denoon Park Board members reviewed the bids from the opening of March 21, 1984. Richard Manchester moved to recommend the metal bridge as a substitute for the vood bridge. Joe Weitzer seconded. Motion carried. Motion to recommend to the Finance Committee and Common Council the approval of the Western Landscape Contractors, Inc. total bid was made by Ralph Tomczyk, seconded by Carl Wauer. Motion carried unanimously. Tractor/Implements After review of the specifications and price quotes on tractors and implements, Carl Wauer made a motion to recommend to the Common Council the Kubota B7100 without the R.O.P.S. with the pulverizer, mower, and landscape rake. Ralph Tomczyk seconded. Motion carried unanimously. Summer Recreation Brochures Printers in the Muskego area were contacted to submit a price qllote on the surnwr brochure. Following discussion of the price quotes, a motion to approve T. J. Printing for the printing of the recreation brochure was made by Ralph Tomczyk. ffiren Wesell seconded. Motion carried unanimously. Karen Wesell make a motion for adjournment. Ralph Tomczyk seconded. motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 8:57 PM.
