The meeting was called to order at 7~30 PM.
PRESENT: Tom Raimann, Karen Wessel, Dick Manchester and
Paul Ussel, Board Members. Fred Baewer, Director.
ABSENT: Richard Arrowood, Michael Weed, and Carl Wauer.
The Minutes of the May 14th meeting were approved as mailed.
PERSONAL APPEARANCES
Mrs. Will Fischer appeared to request the use of a lake lot next - - - _._ - - _.- to her property in order to remove concrete from her yard. She
has maintained the property in question. Mr. Ussel moved
to approve her request providing no property damage will
occur and Karen Wesell seconded. Motion carried.
Tom Fularczyk, the new intern, was introduced. He is from - T - -.- thg University of Wisconsin at Lacrosse. An 8 credit program
is involved and he will experience all areas of the Parks &
Recreation Department and will be graduating in August.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Realignment of the Capital Budget Park projects was dis-
cussed since only the Bluhm Farm Project received LAWCON
funding.
The need for a shelter at Kurth was.questioned and possible
use of monies set aside for repairs at Horn and Jensen were
discussed.
Karen Wesell moved that the Director obtain price quotes on repairing the buildings at Horn and Jensen Parks and
possibly expand the building at Horn Park to the West.
The motion was seconded by Raimann and carried.
Ussel moved to maintain other spending amounts quoted. (See
.attached.)
Little Muskego Lake Association requests were discussed.
Regarding boat launching, Manchester moved to keep the
launch site open all day for launching boats. Raimann
seconded but the motion failed to pass on a 2-2 vote. Manchester then moved to pole other members of the board
who were not present, for their opinions. Raimann seconded
and the motion carried.

The fees at Idle Isle were discussed and Karen Wesell moved
that if the Parks & Recreation Department is at Idle Isle
collecting fees, the department should keep the fees. However,
if the LMLA collects the fees, they should keep them. Mr.
Manchester seconded the motion and it carried.
NEW BUSINESS
Residents on Agate Drive near Jensen Center have raised
complaints about people using the facility, parking on
their lawns and blocking the road thus creating a problem
if emergency vehicles needed entrance. Karen Wesell
moved to request that the Safety Committee post "No
Parking" signs on the south side of Agate Drive. Mr. Ussel
seconded and the motion carried.
A request for "No Parking" signs along Fleetwood Drive
near Schmidt Park was discussed. Tom Raimann moved to
oppose the posting of such signs along Fleetwood Drive. Wesell seconded and the motion carried.
"Stop" signs on the curve at Horn Park are being requested
for safety reasons. Mr. Manchester moved to request that
signs be placed by the Safety Committee. The motion was
seconded by Mr. Ussel and carried.
MISCELLANEOUS
The Century Fence Company has finished at Horn Field.
The next meeting of the Board is scheduled for June 11th.
Meeting adjourned at 9:25 PM.

SUBJECT: Request Change in Capital Budget Spending
The Parks and Recreation Board requests a change in our
1979 Capital Budget. The reason for change is that LAWCON
funded only the Bluhm Farm project due to lack of monies.
This means that to complete the projects, we will only
have our share of the 50150 grants.
Our present allocation are as follows;

Schmidt Park Landscaping $5000
Kurth Park Landscaping and Building $13,695
