MINUTES OF SPECIAL PARK & RECREATION - RE THE LITTLE MUSKEGO
LAKE ASSOCIATION FUN FEST AT IDLE ISLE ON JULY 13,'14, 15.
BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT Tom Raimann, Dick Arrowood, Karen
Wesell, Carl Wauer, and Director
Fred Baewer.
LMLA COMMITTEE Dianne Allen, Bob Riddle, Jan Knapp, Robert
Barley , and George Harmon.
CONCERNS:
1. Parking - under control of Park & Recreation Dept. Only
those areas that can support a vehicle be used for parking, which will be decided that Friday.
2. Boat launching - will not close launch site. LMLA wants
to close boat launching to reduce parking problems. They
are concerned about accidents and want to close at 12.00
on Saturday and Sunday.
3. Closing time - Park cleared by 11 001 Beer tent closed at lo;30 PM.
4. Tent Placement - 3 tents. Want to place 1 tent on asphalt.
Possibly use plywood for dancing.
5. Beer truck and 1 car should be on east side of building. West side open for emergency vehicle and use grass.
6. Extra toilet facilities - No funds.
7. Power for tents - should be cleared with the city elec-
trical inspector.
8. Extra benches - picnic tables were needed. Possibly
buy tables using money set aside for this purpose in the capital budget.
10. Dumpster - Barrels/Park Board will supply 12 or more
barrels without liners.
11. Ski Show - Water bugs 2 or 3 00 PM. Swimming area taken
down by Lake Association and placed back same night.
12. If crowd is too large LMLA may bus people from Parkland
Mall.
13. Parking - LMLA will have a committee to work with parking.
14. Boat Patrol - City police should be on duty.

15. Regular fees will be charged for boat launching.
16. Clean-up / each night and the following Monday.
17. Toilet facilities - placed along service entrance road,
under direction of Parks Dept.
