a Minutes of special meeting held June 26, 1978.
PRESENT: Richard Arrowood, Michael Weed, Richard Manchester, Tom
Raimann and Director Steve Pischke
ABSENT: Ron Ford and Paul Ussel
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. This special meet-
ing was held with regard to the over bidding for the projects at
Horn Field and Kurth Park.
Pischke reviewed the bids received:
Base Bid A - $13,954.00 - fencing
Base Bid B - 5,995.OO - asphalt
Base Bid C - 8,152.95 - landscaping
Pischke also reviewed what the alternatives were since we were
over bid on the budgeted amount by $8,600.95. If we were to do
just Horn Park, it would cost us $17,492.77. If we just did Kurth
Park, the cost would be $10,609.18.

After much discussion, Weed moved to accept Base Bids A and B,
provided the City would come up with the additional $448.00 needed
to complete both projects. (This would eliminate the landscaping
in both parks.) Seconded by Manchester. The motion carried.
