Denoon, three on Little Muskego, and one at Kurth Park. The crew,
consisting of four people, will be starting on building repair
work as soon as time permits.
Recreation Division
Cross Country Skiing will be starting January 18th. So far thirty
people have signed up for this three session course. Attendance
has picked up in other programs.
Snowmobiling in the parks will close down if there is not enough
snow. The trails are being used, and the signs for the trails are
from the snowmobile clubs and the Parks & Recreation Department
are working well. There is a lot of snowmobiling at Kurth Park.
The GMC 4x4 does not heve enough power to work the plow. There is
a need for another battery, as much of the power is being used by
other things. A kit for $180.00 can be installed from GMC. The
use of the lights will have to be cut.
The Capital Budget meeting has been set for Tuesday, January 30th.
Those present discussed the possibility of holding the monthly
meeting on the fourth Monday of the month instead of the second,
to avoid conflict with court; therefore, barring any problems,
the next meeting will be January 23, 1978.
Respectfully submitted,
Tom Raimann
