Minutes of meeting on May 9, 1977.
Due to the fact that there were not enough members present for a quorum, a
meeting was not held. The following is a review of the proceedings of that
informal discussion.

The VanLanen's, the Racklus's and Rrs. Markewicz appeared on behalf of the
people in the Schubring Drive area requesting that the city develop a launching
area on Little Muskego Lake. They also questioned the upkeep of the city owned lot.
Mr. Radtke and Mr. Fitzgerald appeared on behalf of the Little fluskego Lakes Assoc.
requesting use of Idle Isle beach on June 25th & 26th for a money making project.
Proceeds will be turned over to the city to help develop the lake.
Mr. Hudson appeared requesting prepayment of bus charges for Senior Citizens.
He requested that future trips be paid for at this time and the organization
would forward paid receipts after the event. He also requested $l,OOO.OO for
next year.
Mr. Runye, Assistant Scout Master of Soy Scouts Pack 66 requested the use of two
diamonds on Wednesday evenings at Kurth Park. Director Pischke was reluctant to
issue the pennit because of the real lack of playing fields for practices. Board
memb@rs? present suggested that Director Pischke review the playing fields and if
possible, grant a permit to Pack 66.
Mrs. Heckert requested that something be done about the foul ball area at Horn Field. She was informed that steps were being taken to somewhat alleviate the situation,
however, it will be awhile before something permanant could be done.
Mr. Tuttle, a student, requested an activity center for 14 - 16 year olds. We felt
there was a great need for a social center in the city. During the surmner months
there is no problem but in the winter there is a real need. 'When asked why the
previous center failed, he did not know. The board members responded that they would
consider his request.
AS there was not a quorum present, the members disbanded after the personal appearances.
