Minutes of meeting on March 14, 1917
The meeting was called to order at 7:33 P.M. by President Arrowood.

Ford moved that the minutes be approved as published. Seconded
by Manchester. Passed
PERSONAL APPEARANCES
Representatives of the men’s slow pitch league appeared before the
board requesting use of the diamonds at Mill Valley on Wednesday
nites. They also submitted their rules for the current season
which included the statement that only four players may be non-
residents on each team. Ford moved that the slow pitch league
may be permitted to use the Mill Valley diamonds on Wednesday
evenings. Seconded by Raimann. Passed
SALENTINE, INC.
Dahlen moved that Pischke contact Mr. Moyer, manager of Salentine's
softball team, asking if they still wish to get into the league.

FOUR AND FOIJRTY CONCEPT
Dahlen asked Pischke if he had contacted the U. 5. Department of
Labor. He had not. After the discussion of the four and fourty
concept, Manchester moved that it be approved by the board. Seconded
by Raimann. Ford moved to ammend the motion by inserting that
there will be a evaluation at the July meeting. Ammendment was
seconded by Manchester. Ammendment passed. Original motion*Eq.esed. .-
WOMEN"S SOFTBALL LEAGUE
The women's softball league will be able to play under the lights
on Thursday evenings at Mill Valley this year.
SNOWMOBILE CLUB
The snowmobile club will be able to use a diamond at Kurth Park
on Monday eveningsas per their request.
NEW MACHINERY
Engman moved that the board purchase Infield Pro to take care of the
park diamonds. Dahlen moved to ammend the motion by inserting that
the equipment be bid. Seconded by Raymond. A~endment..Pa_s_se.
Original motion passed.
PAINTING THE PICKUP
After reviewing the quotations submitted by Pischke, Ford moved to
authorize the painting of the pickup truck for $475.00 by Auto
Finishers. Seconded by Engman. Motion failed. .,- _..._.,,. - .,._ _.
TELEPHONE - MILL VALLEY
Engman moved we have the Telephone Company install a telephone line
at no cost to the board for Mill Valley if approved by the Ruskego
Norway School Board. Seconded by Raymond. Passed
NEW RECREATION PROGRAMS ,
Soccer Program - Meeting will be held this week. Appears to be
great interest.
Golf Clinic - Slated for the last Wednesday of March. Will be held
at the High School. Golf pro from Muskego Lakes Country Club
will contact.
\, Sailing Lessons - Possibility that the program will begin this

Yacht Club. No Park a Recreation funds are committed.
Summer Basketball - Engman asked if there is a possiblity of shifting
some of the weekend games to weeknights. Pischke feels this is not
advisable, but will look into it
SCOREBOARD - HORN FIELD
Pischke has been in contact with some people that feel a scoreboard
should be erected at Horn Field. He will check into the possibility
of a scoreboard that might be purchased by an advertiser or two.
SAILING FEE
Engman moved the Little Muskego Lakes Yacht Club by charged a $30.00
fee for the launching of sailboats for 1977 season. Seconded by
Raymond. E=.ss e d .
LANDSCAPING
Murray outlined possible planting for Emerald and Jewel Crest. Ranchester
moved that the board approve the planting. Seconded by Ford. PeanAa
Manchester also moved that the proposed plantings at the park on Pearl
and the park on Diamond be accepted. Seconded by Engman. PtiKC9y.
JENSEN CLUB HOUSE
Dahlen moved that the church group requesting to use the Jensen Center
on Tuesday evenings be given permission if the director so decides.

INTERN PROGRAM
P Pischke has attended a intern program at Lacrosse State University
in the hopes of getting one or two interns for f4uskego this summer.
Chances seem a little slim of getting someone this year.
LAWCON PROJECT
Planning is underway. Pischke will meet with architect this week.
