Minutes of meeting on February 14, 1977
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. by President Arrowood.

Ford moved that the minutes be approved as published. Seconded by Manchester. Passed
PARRORDINANCE
Ford moved to forward the anunended park ordinance #277 to the Rules, LaWS
and Ordinance Committee for review and recommendations of approval to the
Comon Council. Seconded by Manchester. Passed
OUTIGT #l
Ford moved that the director investigate the possibility of a future winter
sport area adjacent to Ridges Outlot #l. Seconded by Dahlen. Passed
PARKLAND BASEBALL LEAGUES
Director Pischke will write the superintendent of schools concerning the school
district taking over the baseball program. Ford moved that the contract of 1977
be forwarded to the Common Council with an affirmative recommendation. Seconded
by Manchester. Passed
JENSEN SITE
Ford moved that the letter for American Title Insurance Company concerning our
encroachment of neighboring property be forwarded to the City Attorney for
clarification. Seconded by Manchester. Passed
LAUNCH FEES - IDLE ISLE
Ford moved that launch fees for 1977 be as follows:

10 to 49 H.P. Motor 1.50 4.00
50 H.P. Motor & Over 3.00 6.00
Seconded by Manchester. Passed
CAPITAL BUDGET
Director Pischke reported on the capital budqet as approved. The office
desk "as increased by $60.00. The electric typewriter "as deleted. Only
1 - two-way radio was approved for $710.00. The lawn mower budget "as
increased $105.00. The weedeater was cut $30.00. Land purchase for Lake
Denoon for $17,875.00 and the Lamb property for $16,500.00 were deleted. The
fencing at Horn Field was deleted and the area between Horn Field and City
Hall for improvement "as dropped. The total approved by the City Council for
Capital Outlay "as $72.209.32.
ICE PLANER
Ford moved that we purchase a ice planer for $50.00. Seconded by Manchester.

FOUR AND FOURTY CONCEPT
Director Pischke recommended that the summer help be permitted to help for
10 hours a day for four days each week. After a discussion, Ford moved to
defer action on this request until next meeting. seconded by Dahlen. Passed
SOCCER PROGRAM
Director Pischke will make a survey to see what interest there is in such a
program for future program planning.
SOFTEALL PROGRAM
Ford mentioned that the girls program would like to play under the lights on
Thursday evening. Also, that the snowmobile group would like to use one diamond
on Plonday night. These requests will have to be considered along with all other
softball requests. On Wednesday night, February 16th, the tavern league is having
a reorganizational meeting. Mr. Ford is attending this meeting an&'&o reminded
to tell the players that the 4 non-resident players limit is in effect this year.
Next meeting will be at 7:30 P.M., March 14, 1977.
