Minutes of Park Survey a,nd Visitation on 6/g/75, 7:00 to 3:50 P.M. 4 RESENT : Director, Ron Ford; President, Dick Arrowood; Set-Treas. Joyce Krygier; Rom Raimann; Rec. Dir., Don Xa,ngas; Park Sup., Don MC Cullough.
PURPOSE: to review opening Idle Isle Beach for swimming and progress of
completion of Idle Isle and Schmidt Parks.
DECISION: MC Cullough 11111 work on getting rid of the weeds so that beach
can open 6/21/75.
IDLE ISLE: Noted that the black top still was not in a.nd ths completion
date of h/15/75 was near. Noted that bollards not a.9 called
for on specs. P?oted the sand washout. Noted change of tree
planter frame heceuse of error by workman. Noted that ever-
green trees that were donated need to be moved to proper spot. Arrowood will call Schreiber and ask that he contact Fcrsyth
in an effort to get park completed on time. Raimann suggested
tha,t Instead of removal of bollards and replacement with right ones we consider a penalty.
SCRMIDT: Rave ccmplcints about children going throug~h yards to get to park. Need 2 pa~rk entrance. Teeter tottors need.renorking to make stable.
The rev7orkir.g of damaged one is not right. Noted lack of grass
from the seeding and have concern about payment before park has

a good crop of properly seeded grass as per specs.
PUBLICITY: Kry,cier to call The Sun and get article in next paper sta,ting
the hours for swimming 12 to 7 starting 6/21/75 and the new boat launchfng fees starting 6/16/75 -- all of this contingent on the park being completed per schedule.
