M.I..S. policy of going through school channels even though re- peatedly told--annual meeting announced at previous open meeting i as well as mailings to all senior members in good standing with 'swim group-many newsletters published, sometimes two a week-- disruptive board member's senior membership removed so that board could wcrk--Sowlnski had been asked to be on the board but re- fused preferring to swim elsewhere --Sowinski helped cho;se last coach never expressing opposition--major recruitment was without MLS board's approval because of wrong timing (end of season, during preparations for holding meet f esulting in crowding of pool and many new swimmers who c0u1;~~ conditioned In time for .3 . Master Plan: Bay Lane--hold off until School Board looks at Joint ventures. 7th ward--Ford asked Schrelber to make note to IncIude specific sites. Kingston estate: Arrowood talked to attorney %ho says will must be followed as to money being used only for swimming pool--add pool to Rorn field. Horn --add lagoons to park In lowland. Electric Co. right of ways: consl~der leasing these for non i motorized trailways--they naturally seem to link ma,ny parks. Industrial park: developslightly smaller area here for workers to rest, eat lunch. Schwefer and Funk properties to be added for acquisition, special parks. Schmidt Park: Ford surgested that it would be 'C.K. to go over problem with Foldy. SIs:lm ,group: Arrowood asked that board discuss and give direction to swim group. D1,scussed internal problem--Ma experience--board re- minded XLS approved by school and regular hours already approved. Arrowood moved, Ralmann seconded that group representing "Citizens for Youn,g Swimmers" came before P&R and asked P&R to take over M.L.S. program end reorganize it using citizen type help. P&R does not fe'el that it can function a.s a~rbltrator to resolve the internal functioning of Muskego Life Sports group--carried. Copy of minutes giving summary of problem and motion should go to Mr. Yeber and Mr. Sowinski. Bills: Arrowood moved, Manchester seconded approval of vouchers as read-- carried. !
