Recreation coxunittee report by I;ryxier-4r. Kangas advises there will be no
tennis in the Winter, but will offer it in Spring; Golf and duplicate bridge
will be offered after Xxx vacation; there xi.11 be no area &Syrz used this
year since the turnout was not sufficient last year i.e. 12-20 Flill 'Valley;
there %:ill be c; xl offered at the hi+ school and basketball lea.c:pe tenxs for
5~&11, 6th and 7th Erade at Bay Iane; he is roinr; to talk to teachers at Bay
Lane in an effort to work out a &l's procrm. The co:;raittee wants a definite
plan for ice skating and the sreas to be used lor that purpose.
Publicity, planning and records report by Krygier for Be&e--XI. Kaneas advises
that publicity for the recreation program takes the fan of public address at the schools, fliers now and at 1st of year plus an article in TZE ,wTa,*j$ d and two articles in TIi% SUN. Considering posters made by high school pupils
to be posted in various localities, Es. Kaneas has records for p:ast years and
will give a record report at end of season,
